Congrats to Jon Cave and Helen Hou-Sandí who both have received core commit access, the former as a permanent committer and the latter being a guest (it’s worth noting that Jon has had core commit via guest but is now joining the core team with @koopersmith and @dd32).
This is a great move as the team continues to expand the talent pool with individuals who have proven their commitment to WordPress and core development. We’re stoked to see it happen and want to wish them the very best – no need to be afraid though!
