Just checked @rescuetime. I’ve worked more than 50 hours of the last 72. Hello, Thursday! (And WordPress 3.5, be done already…)

The WordPress Team has been working over-time to launch WordPress 3.5 – in fact, the last ticket was knocked off the list yesterday so it could be here any moment now.
Guys like Andrew Nacin has been working for more than 50 hours in the past 72 – you need to get some sleep!
Pretty stoked and excited to see it live – there are a number of great features lined up to be released formally and I’m personally excited about:
Media Manager
I can’t wait for this one. Have you seen the simplified UI and the intuitive view of existing media? Holy jeebuz!
I’m stoked and can’t wait to see people’s responses to it!
Retina Display Compatibility
I love my 15″ Macbook Pro with Retina Display but have been incredibly sad that many sites, apps, and browsers have been slow to adopt it. As a result it’s grainy looking and relatively unpleasant.
But no longer will WordPress be on the “scorn” list!
As Aaron Brazell has noted:
For those of you on the retina display bandwagon, both Twenty Twelve and the entire administrative interface are all retina ready. No pixelation on those high-end Macs!
In WordPress 3.4, the first steps were made by providing quite a few retina (or hi-def, if you will – it will make more sense in a minute why I offer that clarification) icons in the admin. Now, the CSS (specifically for print) also supports this hi-def rendering. If you must print a tree, the print stylesheets will be printing in hi definition.
This also opens up opportunity as browsers and CSS3 continue to advance and provide developers with new tools.
Retina not only gives print versions additional clarity, and those high end Macs more beauty, but it also renders things better for you iPhone 5, iPad 3, Kindle HD and various new Android device users. Rejoice!
Legit! And I can’t wait to see the simplified UI of the entire admin as well.
What are you excited about? What can’t you wait to get in your hot little hands?
