Max Foundry – the company behinds products such as MaxGalleria and MaxInbound – recently released a major update to their MaxButtons Pro product.
Specifically, MaxButtons Pro now features Shopp integration.
Neat, right?
Wait, What’s MaxButtons?
Before covering this particular update, here’s a heads up on MaxButtons straight from the product site:
WordPress CSS3 Button Generator. A powerful, easy to use plugin that anyone can use to create beautiful buttons
Yep – the plugin allows you to create nice looking buttons without writing any CSS3. On top of that, the plugin creates buttons that are cross-browser compatible and includes a variety of icons right out-of-the-box.
Additionally, there are pre-made button backs, support for Google Web Fonts, and more.
MaxButtons and Shopp Integration
Yesterday, Max Foundry publicly announced the partnership between Shopp and Max Foundry.
Simply put, the partnership between the two organizations now allows developers to swap out Shopp buttons for buttons created with MaxButtons Pro.
Shopp and Max Foundry have teamed up to bring your e-commerce a better look and better conversions. When it comes to e-commerce and shopping carts, sometimes the difference between making a sale or not is the important details, especially buttons used through the checkout process. Better buttons lead to much higher conversion rates.
“We think MaxButtons Pro is the best WordPress button plugin around, so we’ve partnered with Dave and Bob at Max Foundry to create a complete integration between Shopp and MaxButtons Pro”, says Jonathan Davis, founder of Shopp. “Their newest version allows you to easily swap out the standard cart buttons from Shopp for buttons created with MaxButtons Pro.”
According to Donaldson, partner at MaxFoundry, the goal of the partnership is quite simple:
“Saving developers time customizing Shopp’s e-commerce system by helping them deliver the most effective and cohesive look and feel on their sites is what our aim is with this integration.”
We dig seeing partnerships like this throughout the community – best of luck to both Max Foundry and Shopp. For more information, be sure to checkout the press release.
