Gravatar stands for “globally recognized avatar” which wouldn’t be totally true if it weren’t also globally accessible everywhere if it was just in english – especially in terms of their landing and product page.
So with the recent release of French and Korean translations adoption can increase even more in those areas of the world. Being ethnically korean myself it’s always a pleasure to see my culturally native language on an Automattic property!
To be sure though, my first language is far-and-away english but it’s satisfying to know that there are incredible volunteers that are contributing their time to help provide these very valuable translations.
