What!?! Another Jetpack update?
When Jetpack first came out, I was in love. Such a great bunch of tools in one. This one plugin made many others obsolete and it tied into many of the WordPress.com services that are really slick.
I remember first opening it up and seeing the “coming soon” boxes.
It was exciting.
But when is enough, enough?
It would seem as though Jetpack has become a product managers nightmare. It only make sense that a plugin that has this much packed into it, is going to need a lot of updates.
The question becomes, however, when is too much–too much?
Jetpack is quickly becoming the classic quality versus quantity argument. Will it become so robust and bloated that it’s rendered useless? Or perhaps there is an evolution of this plugin that we’ve yet to see.
What do you think?
I would love to get some feedback from the WordPress community on this?
