The future of education is with online technology and there are fewer and better things to be innovating on than just that. Now, WordPress.com offers that opportunity for any educator with specific themes and features that will make learning even more effective.

With themes like Chalkboard and Runo Lite that make it look very classroom-like a teacher (or even private tutor or any education-related vocation) could come in and start engaging with their students, create private areas of interaction, and all the features that many of us have come to know and love.
The landing page looks great and is attractive – I imagine it’ll help convert more than a few people and educators who may have wondered if WordPress was the right solution for them.
Is this something you’ll be passing on to your friends in education? Is this something that you’re already doing as an educator, but perhaps on your own self-hosted environment?
