He first passed the $1MM mark just a few months more than a year ago – so he’s scaling fast! Unbelievably fast to be sure. He’s moved on from being a one-man show to now building a team:
There has been a little more change on the business side of things. My team and I have made some important steps from being a one-man show to growing into a real business, with proper communication and collaboration.
That’s something which didn’t come very naturally to me since pretty much from day one of my career as web designer, I was that one guy doing everything.
So the plan now is to hire an additional code wrangler to help with updates and framework improvements, and keep growing the business alongside of ThemeForest.
The team at Envato had a special message for him to congratulate him on his wild success:
I love hearing news like this because it will further inspire many more authors to continue to create great companies on the back-bone of marketplaces like Envato and ThemeForest.
Especially now with the marketplace looking to open up options for GPL it’s going to be an even better place to launch that small boutique WordPress business and get young author’s feet wet.
He even offers some advice for these new authors by sharing his thoughts on his success over at the announcement post – congrats again and best of luck to you and the many others that will follow!
