Video Game Inspired Mural [Pics, Videos]

Today I’m so stoked to share with you something that we’ve been keeping hush-hush for the past 3 weeks and it’s finally time for the epic reveal.

As you well know already the parent company of WP Daily, 8BIT, is comprised of a bunch of super-nerds and video gamers who grew up in the 80’s and at the very center of 8-bit retro gaming. This is why we named our company the way we did.

Our goal has always been to close the distance between work and play – in fact, we just want to play all the freaking time. So we bring in simple things like a joystick power switch or something large like an arcade stand-up. Whatever we can do to bring back those elements that we love.

But our largest investment has been with a local hip-hop and street artist, Totem, who has been working nights (literally) to pull off an insane piece of custom artwork that is a marquee part of our new office. We teased his work a few weeks ago and we commissioned him to just go all out.

And that’s exactly what he did.

I could probably spend another 5,000 words or so explaining how awesome the work is and the small nuances that he captured in his work. Instead I’ll save that for when you visit so I can explain it to you face-to-face (so make sure to visit)!

I’ll just show you his handiwork from beginning to end and let you be the judge. We’re so very pleased and we couldn’t be happier.
