Two weeks ago I gave my initial thoughts about CoSchedule. As promised I’ve been using it on my personal blog since then and I’m happy to report that it’s worked very well.
The plugin interface is attractive and easy to use. Choose your social media profile, write out what you want to post to that profile, schedule the timing and your done.
I like that you can insert the post title and a permalink just by clicking on their respective icons. This makes putting together a good update fast and simple. I do, however, wish the permalink they offered was a shortened version of the URL though. Every time I’ve used it the permalink has been the full URL which can take up some serious characters in your tweets.
I like the scheduling options as well. I’ve not had any problems with tweets going out at the wrong time. It’s worked as promised which is always nice.
CoSchedule is still in Beta but according to it’s website CoSchedule is only “a kitten’s whisker” away from being ready. If you are looking for a new way to schedule your social media content blasts I’d suggest you give CoSchedule a shot once it’s launched.
