Or so it’s reported…!
The President of the United States visited the Capital Factory startup offices, which has played a role in helping WP Engine get to where they are now.
Jason Cohen, founder of WP Engine, shared a few thoughts on how they’ve created not just a great company culture but jobs that really matter:
Since we founded the company 3 years ago, WP Engine has grown from our first 3 people, to now nearly 50. We’ve not only created dozens of jobs, but I believe we’ve created jobs worth having.
And if you can get the right type of jobs that means you have the opportunity to get the right type of employees who will “come to work excited, and who leave every day with a sense of purpose in their work.”
Now if only WP Engine could get the White House blog on their services, wouldn’t that be hot.
The team is seriously growing up as they have moved into new offices and spending time with each other doing great work (they call them “All-Hangs” instead of “All Hand Meetings”).
Looks like they are having fun! Well deserved my friends. Go get ’em.
