A little under six months in, Torque gleefully welcomes Kirby Prickett in her new role as Editorial Assistant.
I first met Kirby at WordCamp San Francisco, the day of Torque’s launch, where Kirby expressed her interest in journalism—and writing about WordPress specifically. We subsequently worked on an article together, and the experience was terrific.
A native of Brisbane, Australia, Kirby has past professional experience in the fields of economics, public policy, and government. Kirby earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the University of Queensland and and her Master’s Degree at the Australian National University in Government and Commercial Law.
With such an interesting background, we think Kirby’s point of view will offer Torque a unique perspective, and we’re thrilled to have as part of the editorial team.
Kirby is open to hearing from anyone in the community—go ahead and drop her a line at [email protected]!
Michelle Oznowicz is the Managing Editor of Torque. Whether it be directing a short film, planning a unique travel adventure, or pulling together and organizing a community-powered publication, she enjoys rallying a group of people around a common goal.
