Ever wondered what a splog is? What about a post slug?
You’re in luck, because WPBeginner has released a handy new glossary for WordPress terms. This resource is great for beginners, sharing with clients, and explaining to your family what the heck it is you do for a living.
WPBeginner founder Syed Balkhi explains:
If you were ever puzzled by strange WordPress terms or abbreviations, then this is the place to start. We did our best to explain WordPress lingo in plain english for WordPress beginners.
The glossary currently has a little over 100 terms and the WPBeginner team is working on adding more.
WPBeginner is looking for volunteers to contribute to the glossary and is keen to take suggestions for additional terms. You can contact Syed directly on Twitter or go to the WPBeginner’s Make a Suggestion page.
Can you think of any words that are missing?
