Brian Messenlehner joined the Marine Corps on his 18th birthday. After taking his placement exam, he was sent to Military Occupational School, where he met Brad Williams for the first time. Together they were in charge of setting up servers in the field in Afghanistan. Brian and Brad started doing some freelance work in the early 2000s, and in 2006 they decided to start WebDevStudios. In addition to being the co-founder of WebDevStudios, he is the co-author of Building Web Apps with WordPress.
