In the month of July 2014, not many free WordPress themes were released. However, going by the principle of quality over quantity, the small number of themes that were released were impressive beyond compare!
Plus, July also witnessed three free themes from Automattic, namely, Bosco, Adaption and Isola. All of these themes are now available for WordPress.com as well as self-hosted WordPress users.
Let us now take a look at some of the top WordPress themes from the month of July 2014.

Daisy Blue is a WordPress theme meant for magazine websites and blogs. It is fully responsive and comes with its own custom social sharing widgets.

Food Recipes is a responsive WordPress theme meant for, well. . .recipe blogs! It is free to download, but you can signup for Premium Membership if you wish to receive email support and PSD files for the theme.
3. Dice
Dice is a minimal WordPress theme meant for personal blogs. It is fully responsive and mobile friendly.
4. Fast News
Catering to the needs of news and magazine websites, Fast News is a fully responsive WordPress theme. You can also opt for the Pro version for $45, which offers premium support, custom shortcodes, support for Google Fonts, etc.
5. Baskerville
Baskerville is meant for personal blogs and tumblogs. It supports post formats and features a Masonry layout. It is responsive and comes with custom page templates.
6. TH Business
TH Business is a corporate style WordPress theme. It is based on Bootstrap, features a full-width homepage flexslider, is responsive, and comes with custom widgets.
7. Isola
The first one among the three themes released by Automattic this month, Isola is a clean and minimal WordPress theme with a content-first approach. It is responsive and supports post formats.
8. Adaption
Released by Automattic, Adaption is a responsive theme with support for post formats and an optional third column.
9. Bosco
The third theme from Automattic’s stable, Bosco, is a single column WordPress theme. It places the focus on seamless reading experience, supports post formats as well as footer widgets. The theme is fully responsive.
10. Enterprise Lite
Enterprise Lite is a flexible two-column WordPress theme with a responsive layout.
