WordCamp Boston kicks off tomorrow at the George Sherman Union at Boston University with a special keynote presentation by Bobbie Carlton, founder of Carlton PR & Marketing, Innovation Nights, and Innovation Women.
The two-day event features more than twenty-five speakers and boasts five different tracks for developers, designers, freelancers, business owners and entrepreneurs, and bloggers and users.
There will also be three keynote presentations: Visibility = Opportunity by Bobbie Carlton, Smaller, Faster Websites by Mat Marquis, and a Q&A with Core Developers Scott Taylor and Konstantin Obenland.
You can view the full schedule here.
More than three hundred people are expected to attend WordCamp Boston, despite two other WordCamps also scheduled for this weekend, WordCamp Scranton and WordCamp Columbus, respectively.
The afterparty is scheduled for 5:30pm on Saturday at the Holiday Inn Boston-Brookline (1200 Beacon Street, Brookline). There will be light appetizers, a cash bar, and lots of meaningful conversations about WordPress. The afterparty also affords a great opportunity to connect with speakers and other attendees.
