WordPress version 4.7 is here. Here’s our short recap of what new features to expect.
Love WordPress news but hate reading? This is Doc Pop’s News Drop, back in San Francisco!
Last week, WordPress 4.7 dropped right on schedule, and it’s as cool as promised. The new default theme, 2017, is the first theme made specifically for small businesses. It’s really easy to customize without any code background. Just click on a panel, add a photo or content and you’re ready to be relevant online.
Another exciting feature is live previews. Whenever you add a plugin or change your theme, you can see how it will affect your site immediately. That means no more child themes, or testing sites. Think of the time you’ll save! You can finally spend some time with your kids.
The update is named after Sarah “Sassy” Vaughan,” an American jazz singer. She joins the ranks of Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Carmen McRae, and Ella Fitzgerald as the 6th female artist to be honored.
If you haven’t already, make sure you download the sassiest update yet.
