A couple of weeks ago, we released Episode 0 of Hello Dolly. Generally speaking, the podcast was largely an experiment not only to see if we could pull off something that was a worthwhile contribution to WordPress in the podcast-space, but to see if there was any interest from others in listening to anything we had to share.
Based on the feedback of the first episode – all of which that we’re thankful for, by the way – it was evident that we should move forward.
So we took everything you guys suggested and critiqued and aimed to release the official first episode before the end of the year.
So, today, we’re proud to announce Episode 1 of Hello Dolly – The Empire Strikes Back.
In this episode, all four partners of 8BIT and the team behind WP Daily – that is, John Saddington, Chris Ames, Jared Erickson, and myself – have another roundtable discussion about a number of things in the WordPress-space.
Additionally, we slightly modified the format of the show and we’ve increased the length to approximately 35 minutes.
Show Notes
In this episode, the team discusses the following:
- The status of WP Daily after its first 100 posts
- Tips for aspiring bloggers: how to get started, contributing to other sites, and what it’s like after a single year, and after 12 years of blogging
- WordPress Trends that we liked and disliked in 2012
- How to call in for future episodes
