We are so excited to announce a brand new podcast affectionately called Hello Dolly. For those that have been around WordPress for a while (and ever installed a self-hosted version) then you’ll immediately get the reference that we’ve created here!
It’s a true throwback and hat tip to the greatest jazz-related WordPress Plugin ever and represents a very similar mission:
This is not just a [podcast], it symbolizes the hope and enthusiasm of an entire generation summed up in two words sung most famously by Louis Armstrong.
Obviously we’ve exchanged the word podcast for plugin in this instance but you get the idea – our hope is that this podcast, the brainchild via Tom McFarlin our Technical Editor here at WP Daily, will grow to be one of the best podcasts on the planet covering the stuff that interests you, the interviews you want to hear, and the entertainment that’ll get you through those boring moments at the office (without letting your boss know).
Hey, it’s WordPress for your earholes.
Make sure you subscribe via iTunes and make sure to let others know about it – and heck, we may even have you on there in the near future.
If you’ve got any more ideas about what you’d like for us to cover then feel free to drop us a line via the comments – this first episode, Episode 0, is our experimental run and it’s practically a blank slate from here on out.
