We had a great weekend at WordCamp 2019 in St. Louis, MO. This year we had the chance to chat with 12 fascinating WordPressers about several interesting topics. You can watch all of our interviews here: This year we chatted with Marieke van de Rakt (Yoast SEO), Matt Barry (Wordfence), Ben Pines (Elementor), Mikey Veenstra (Wordfence), Jake Spurlock (WordPress VIP), Jack Sellwood (Local By Flywheel), Tess Coughlan-Allen (Mind Doodle), BobWP, Jay Hill (WP Engine), Victor Ramirez (Wall Street Journal), Theirry Muller (Google), and Josh Pollock (Caldera Forms).
During his State of The Word Speech at WordCamp US, Matt Mullenweg mentioned some interesting Gutenberg block options that were available to download. That got us thinking about some Gutenberg blocks that we’d like to see in 2019.
WordCamp US has just wrapped up and we were very fortunate to have the chance to talk to many WordPress heroes during our stay in Nashville, TN. Considering the release of WordPress 5.0 was the day before WCUS, it’s no surprise that Gutenberg was a frequent topic, but we also noticed another topic that kept popping up: WordPress governance. We hope you enjoy these videos. Thanks to JJJ, Morton Rand-Hendriksen, Jenny Wong, Josh Pollock, Raitis Sevelis, Mark Maunder, Taeke Reijenga, and Micah Dailey for their time. You can watch the full playlist here.
