Last year, I wrote a post on 100 WordPress influencers to follow in 2015. The list was based off who I followed before 2015. All of them, in some way or another, work to improve the WordPress community. I had the pleasure of interviewing many of them over the year. Several commenters shared their own lists of influencers and recommendations of WordPressers to follow. I connected and followed many of these people in 2015. I also followed some hidden gems in the WordPress community who are contributing to WordPress with their amazing products and services. 2015 was a great year […]
The Best WordPress Security Plugins Compared
Nowadays, if your WordPress security approach is passive you are inadvertently playing with fire. All your hard work could turn to dust in the blink of an eye with just one security attack. A Report from WordCamp Europe 2019 – Making History in Berlin
WordCamp Europe 2019 just ended and like in 2016 and 2017, I was there. Additionally, as in those times, I decided to write a report for those who couldn’t make it. This year, WCEU took place in Berlin in the Estrel Hotel from June 20 to June 22. I live in Berlin, so it was very easy to get to and from the venue. More than 3,600 people bought tickets, which is 800 more than last year. This makes WCEU 2019 the largest WordCamp to date. More than half of the attendants were first-timers. The Contributor Day on Thursday was […]
