What a week. And, can you actually believe that we’re in the month of June already? 2013 is about half-way done already. So, the question is, have you accomplished everything that you had set out to do in 2013? Are you slacking? Get to it!
WooThemes just released WooCommerce 2.0, their ever popular eCommerce plugin for WordPress. They added a variety of new features in the new version ranging from improved security (approved by Sucuri) to advanced inventory management. All of these features make WordPress a more viable candidate as a platform to develop a fully-featured eCommerce site. As a result, I want to take a personal look at it and give you my thoughts from on some of the major features and why it may be time to take a serious look at it, if you already haven’t.
This has been a great year to be a WordPress developer, designer or user. With the updates to core, community, and paid plugins and themes, it’s been a real smorgasbord of awesomeness. In the realm of plugin development, it’s been a particularly exciting time with amazing new plugin releases and feature upgrades with existing plugins. I’ve asked some well known folks in the WordPress community for their top picks and present to you the top five mentions here.
