Headless WordPress may sound scary at first, but it’s really not that bad.
I had a great time chatting with folks at WordCamp US 2022 in San Diego. The event felt more intimate than previous years and reminded me of WordCamp San Francisco 2014. Did you know The San Diego Zoo is only an 8 minute drive from this year’s WordCamp US location? The San Diego Zoo is one of three zoos in the United States that has giant pandas. That got me thinking about a Wapuu/giant panda mashup.

Generative text-to-image tools, like Dalle-2 and Midjourney, are all the rage this summer. I used an AI tool called Craiyon to generate an image based on the prompt “WordPress mascot” and then redrew the results in a more consistent style. Here are the results:
