I couldn’t be more stoked to share with you guys WordCamp Atlanta 2013, which is happening on March 15-16 in the Loudermilk Center.
The reason I’m calling attention to this is probably obvious – WordCamp Atlanta is our hometown WordCamp and not only am I part of the leadership committee this year representing 8BIT and WP Daily, we’re having the After Party for speakers, sponsors, and VIP at the WP Daily offices, just half a mile away (Map Here)!
It’s going to be amazing and I hope you can attend!
We also are planning some neat things as well like some pre-game events or something creative. We’ll let you know more as we get closer to the day.
We are also looking for speakers for our event – there are 4 Core Tracks this year as we’ve begun planning:
- Beginner Track
- Developer Track
- Design Track
- Content / Strategy / Misc.
If you’re interested in speaking we’d love to get your application to consider for the event. We are also looking for sponsors and slots are already filling up fast.
Also, we’re looking to get a great volunteer base established for the event as well since well need help in terms of registration, liveblogging, managing the rooms, food, and more. We’ve had some incredible turnout in the previous WordCamps here in Atlanta and we expect to make this one even better – in fact, let’s try to make this one of the best WordCamps on the eastern seaboard – might as well go big or go home!
And for those that will eventually ask, tickets are looking to be available starting in mid-February, so stay tuned in for more details and ticketing release information.
Lastly, much thanks to Jared from our team who designed and branded the site and event this year – killer work.
