Ghost continues their development and they are hitting on all cylinders, for serious.
In their latest update (for backers only) they shared the fact that they’ve seen over 27,000 core submissions:
That’s all for now. We’re powering away on core development. There have been over 27,000 code additions to the core repository in the last month.
That’s some code for ya. I’m excited to continue to see the development and happy to be a backer of the project via Kickstarter.
Also, one of the benefits of being a backer was a free Node.js lesson via Code School, which was just released. Naturally I can’t share the link to the class but I took a look at it this morning and it’s nicely done, as most of their courses are (if you want some other great online education resources, check this out).
Oh, by the way, John O’Nolan himself learned Node.js through this class! So, that speaks very highly of it if I do say so myself!
Also, here are some other recent updates:
- The Ghost Foundation is now a legal not-for-profit organisation in the UK! Sweet!
- The team has grown, including John and Hannah now with the likes of Jacob Gable, Gabor Javorszky, Ricardo Tomasi, Tim Griesser, Matthew Harrison-Jones, James Bathgate and David Wolfe. Wow.
- GetResponse and Site5 are now partners.
- They are hiring. Oh. Nice.
We’ll keep you posted as more details are delivered!
