Did you get your 2012 Year in Blogging Annual Report in your inbox recently? I know I did as I got more than a few of them. These annual reports are a neat way to see a top-level view of what happened over the course of the year in terms of your blog. It gives you statistics (in a nice graphical form) of how many people visited the blog, where they were from, what the top posts were in terms of traffic and comments (and who they were) as well referrals. It’s not a crazy-robust report but it’s a neat […]
BlogEasy for Mac OS X – Too Much for Too Little?
Since I shared one of the iOS apps that I’ve been trying out this year for my blogging needs I thought it would be worthwhile to share another one via Mac and OSX that is also fairly slick. This video overview should give you some bearings and then I’ll share some thoughts next:
Poster: An Elegant Editor for iOS
If you know me at all then you know I’m pretty obsessed with trying out new applications and anything that’ll make my publishing life easier. In fact, I’m willing to try out anything just to see if I can eek out a bit more performance and effectiveness in the limited amount of time that I’ve got. I’m not a world class developer (yet, hopefully), I’d only given one public tech talk, I had no idea how Trac worked, and I’d never submitted a theme or plugin to the repository. From the […]
The Athletes Network
One of the things that makes WordPress such a viable option when it comes to building websites is its ability to serve as a true application framework. And those developers who are familiar with building true web applications can do amazing things when it comes to using WordPress. Part of the goal of WP Daily is to feature editorial content not only around events, news, interviews, and the like, but applications built on the platform as well. The Athletes Network is one such example.
