Daniel Bachhuber’s Kickstarter went live only two days ago and already it is more than fully funded. Bachhuber, who maintains WP-CLI, says he’s still in shock at just how quickly the project surpassed its $17,500 goal. Earlier this week, the REST API team announced that it will be merged with core in 4.4, which is slated for release in a few months. The API comes in two parts, infrastructure and endpoints.
