I’m going to be covering WordCamp Phoenix 2013 this weekend, which starts tomorrow morning!
This particular WordCamp has 3 full days of awesome things planned:
- “Foundation Friday” will be split into 4 tracks (WordPress 101 through WordPress 401) designed to suit the WordCamper’s interests and skill level. I’m honored to be presenting on content strategy in the WordPress 201 track at 8am.
- Saturday will be split into three tracks: Verticals/Design, Jumpstart, and Development. The always-enjoyable after party and pub crawl will be that night as well.
- Sunday holds in store a WordCamp for Kids (!) and also be a “Business Development Day”, with speakers continuing the discussion in a small group format immediately following their 30 minute session.
It’s shaping up to be an incredible time (when is a WordCamp not?). I’ll be following in Grant’s footsteps by liveblogging the weekend, covering as much as one man can. You can also follow along on a more ‘global’ scale by watching the #WCPHX hashtag on Twitter.
Come say hello in person or let’s talk on Twitter! I look forward to meeting everyone, learning more than I planned to, and having a great time—oh, and the weather.
