How We Listen and Ask for Feedback at Photocrati
It’s been a busy few weeks at Photocrati. We have been cranking away at a big update to our theme and plugins. Some of the updates were for WordPress 3.6 compatibility and others were for enhancements. When releasing new updates to customers we do diligent internal testing (seriously we’ve been at it for weeks) and when comfortable we release it to the world. The update process is an interesting one. There is a lot that I could go over, but I want to share some of what happens at Photocrati that has a big impact on users.

Official: Page.ly Acquires BlogDroid
Oh wow. The world of WordPress hosting is getting smaller because Page.ly just announced that they are acquiring BlogDroid. We’ve covered both extensively and this seems like a very interesting and strategic marriage. We got news a few days ago via Sally Strebel and told to keep it “hush hush” for a bit. We complied, although it’s tough to keep neat news like this to ourselves (but hey, we did it, ok!?!). Gravity Forms v1.7.6 with New Add-on Framework
Things keep getting better and better with Gravity Forms, who have now released their 1.7.6 version. A ‘major’ release for them, they are introducing their “add-on framework” which will allow developers to create add-ons for the popular plugin in a much easier fashion.
