WordPress is being used by not just bloggers or as a regular CMS, it’s being used to do some very “different” things for a variety of different solutions. In many ways people are seeing it as an operating system or at the very least a software and application framework. I’m not a fan of any “daily deals” website outside of Woot! which was really one of the originals (and actually has great stuff, every single day). All those other ones and especially the likes of Groupon and various spin-offs kill me: No, for the 1,000th time NO, I do not want 90% off a tree canopy ride through the Georgia mountains nor do I want 60% off of a hair waxing service.
