WPRoller, which we covered previously, is a system that allows you to create your own custom installs to shortcut the boring process that is often repeated for many of us. They’ve just had a big update that includes the following as you can now grab plugins for your installer zips from three sources: From their curated category lists. Your own uploads From the WordPress Repository directly. You can even save your zip installer configs and “re-roll” them for later use!

WP Remote Adds Automatic Backups
Oh yeah. WP Remote, a monitoring and update solution that has received a bit of attention recently is continuing their product development and rolling out a killer new feature that’s going to have a lot of people considering it strongly even more so as a competitor against the likes of VaultPress and even BackupBuddy. As Noel Tock shared with me privately, they are already monitoring over 40k sties on a daily basis (and growing). With a $5 offering that competes directly with VaultPress’ newest tier it may have in fact just tipped the scales in their favor, especially with these features:
