BTS: What are You Doing Today, This Weekend?
It’s been a while since we did our last “Behind the Scenes” post – we’ve simply been too busy getting work done! Hope you guys have had an incredibly-full yet awesome week of work and productivity (also, rest). As mentioned in the video, we’re looking to do more seminars and training in our office here which may include WordPress-related training, coaching, and workshops. CommaFeed: Bloat-Free Self-Hosted RSS Reader?
Time is ticking my friends – Google Reader just has 6 weeks or so to go before it’s *poof* gone. As I’ve shared previously, Feedly has become my go-to choice for a replacement but it’s not perfect, not even close unfortunately. They’ve iterated on their product a bunch of times in the last few months as their popularity has soared but it’s still lacking on some core features that I’m going to miss from Google Reader. WP 10th Anniversary Site Coming Soon, Swag!
An email was sent out by Jen Mylo who’s helping to organize the killer WordPress 10th Anniversary Party(ies) that are being coming in a short 10 days! It appears that not only is there going to be a killer #WP10 website, as shared by Jen and David Bisset where they are going to pull in extracting images and tweets and instagram posts that use the #WP10 hashtag during the event and display them live on the site.
