Why Gallery Thumbnail Dimensions Matter
It was not until I became more familiar with WordPress and its flexibility did I realize how much dimensions matter. There are thousands, if not millions, of WordPress users that have the most popular WordPress gallery plugin installed. Countless users have posted in the forum that they are not happy with the look of their thumbnail galleries. In the end, though, it comes down to styling. By default, NextGEN Gallery creates 100×75 pixel thumbnails. While that is good for some, it’s boring to others. More specifically, creatives like photographers and graphic designers.
Fix My WP: Support On The Cheap Or Cheap Support?
Fix My WP was submitted to us for news the same day we covered Fantasktic, another WordPress support site. Coincidence? I think not. Both sites offer one-time support (Fatasktic just added a monthly support option), albeit for very different prices. Fantasktic charges an almost flat fee of $99, which is great. Fix My WP on the other hand charges a truly crazy flat rate of $30! I almost don’t know what to do with this. $30, really? It kind of scares me that they would charge so little.
