Is MySpace like the butt of most jokes in terms of the startup technology world? Yes. The question is whether it continues to deserve that irreverent position – and the answer is also a resounding yes. In a recent move MySpace blew away all of their users blogs without notice and without a plan for exporting or backup. It’s hard for me to even write that sentence without my jaw slightly dropping in disbelief:

Affiliate marketing is an easy way to earn some extra money each month and I’ll be honest I do have a few links to DreamHost on my blog. But, nothing bothers me more than when I stumble upon a site with three affiliate links in every paragraph – that is incredibly annoying!

TeslaThemes Now 2 Months Old, Still Here
And that’s a good thing. Sure, no one’s going to quit a new theme club or theme company within the first month or two but it can be very apparent very quick whether or not any traction is being created as this world can be scary, yo! TeslaThemes, which announced their coming out April 17th is still here and continuing to release their themes as they had originally planned: One new theme a month. A simple strategy that’s been tested already a few times.

Fiverr for WP-Specific Jobs, Tasks?
Perhaps you’re familiar with Fiverr, the very simple (and popular) service and marketplace for people to do ______________ starting at $5.00 has now seen a clone in the making related to WordPress. I’m not sure how relevant the returns are on this site though as the latest gig was about 20 days or so ago by the site owner himself, paulgc34 – who is tough to pin down exactly but it seems he’s been “around” the web in some places.
