Yet another incredibly busy week for us at WP Daily and the rest of the 8BIT team – as much as we hate to admit it, we’re still somewhat recovering from WordCamp Atlanta that finished a few weeks ago – all those calls and meetings and things that we had hoped to get done were pushed back and we’re finally knocking them out, one-by-one. But we’ll get there. I’m sure of it. Without further ado, here’s a look at the past week and some of the stories that we weren’t able to cover explicitly:
Full Frame and Ryu, Two New Photo Themes For WP.com
Full Frame is, not surprisingly, a full-width theme for showcasing your beautiful content from edge to edge on whatever device you are using. That’s right, Full Frame is responsive! And is it ever gorgeous!? Take a look:
Daily Theme & Plugin Roundup – 03.29.2013
It’s Friday! Let the freakin’ weekend begin! I’m definitely excited to relax a bit after a long, long week. I am all traveled out and it was my last day at my previous employer today. Some new things happening in a few weeks. More details to come. There’s a few new plugins that I can share with you on today’s roundup. I just wanted to say thanks for the shout out too on Twitter from the WooCommerce DYMO Print crew. It’s great to get to know others in the WordPress community like this. You guys rock! Here’s the new plugins, hot off […]

There’s almost no time where there isn’t some music playing in our office or in our own personal eardrums. I tweeted the other day though my particular headphones that I use and I got enough responses asking me what they are in particular that I decided to share it via a post. The issue is I spend an hour of time trying to actually find the exact pair that I own and sadly they are […]

I cringe every time I see a theme that boasts “100’s of shortcodes” or, God forbid, uses

as a replacement for traditional HTML headings. But how do we make everyone happy? How do we satisfy the developers that need their themes to be competitive in marketplaces? How do […]
