It’s #humpday and I have a new theme and a few new plugins to share with you on today’s roundup. I honestly never thought I would be writing a post about a theme with the name Toothpaste. It’s white and clean as it should. It’s also responsive which is a definite win! Don’t forget to check out the plugins too!

We know how adding great images can make a positive impact on every type of blog post. Images – especially the perfect one – add context, break up blocks of text, and supplement the main point or occasionally add humor. Seeing the impact of images is the easy part – but what do you do when you want to find that perfect image for your latest blog post or article? Search Google Images, and then wade through the results hoping to find the perfect one, while ignoring the fact that you might be using other people’s work without permission?
I’ve only trademarked one other thing for another business and that was because it was incredibly obvious that we should – it was a term that was previously trademarked and part of a domain URL that we purchased for 5-figures. We lucked out in that the previous owner of the trademark didn’t renew their registration and it had expired literally months before we started looking into it. The dust has cleared in more than a few ways since the GPL debate became a big discussion point in the last few months and I believe everyone is breathing a little easier knowing that some of the major issues have been resolved. Or, at the very least, things are moving back to a point of equilibrium among the larger parties involved.
