Yet another incredibly busy week for us at WP Daily and the rest of the 8BIT team – as much as we hate to admit it, we’re still somewhat recovering from WordCamp Atlanta that finished a few weeks ago – all those calls and meetings and things that we had hoped to get done were pushed back and we’re finally knocking them out, one-by-one. But we’ll get there. I’m sure of it. Without further ado, here’s a look at the past week and some of the stories that we weren’t able to cover explicitly:
Hello Dolly Episode 5 – Live From WordCamp Atlanta, It's Hello Dolly!
In the latest episode of Hello Dolly, we cover a number of different topics, but perhaps the most fun (and interesting!) part of the podcast is that we talk to a number of different people live at WordCamp Atlanta! We cover a number of different things, as well so if you’re interested in hearing about WordCamp, hearing from WordCamp, or listening to us respond to listener questions, tune in to the latest episode.
The WordPress Weekend Roundup
This past week has been an absolute blur – busyness hit an all-time high today as I had a keynote at a conference early in the morning, my daughter’s soccer game, and 3 back-to-back-to-back birthday parties and then my wife had a girl’s night out while I took care of the kids. After I launched my own Pressgram project on Kickstarter I started searching around for others like me and I found two here that also need our attention and love. In fact, they are very close to being funded and they need our help to get it done:

Finishing our Epic Gaming Mural, Holding our Jelly Event, organizing and finishing out WordCamp Atlanta (and the VIP after party), launching a Kickstarter Campaign, and managing all the other “normal” things in life – yikes, it’s just been insanity! We’ve been getting a few hours of sleep each night, if we’re lucky. As you can see, Chris is trying to recover… at 8:00am in the morning. But without further ado, here you go:
Pressgram: Filtered Photos + iOS + WordPress
I’ve been working on an iOS application for the last 6 months, working nights, weekends, and with any spare free time that I had to create a solution that I’ve been wanting ever since I left Instagram. A few weeks ago I realized that the project had gotten to a point where I had to make a critical decision – continue in earnest at my current pace or speed things up a bit. I decided that the latter option was much more attractive. As a result I submitted a Kickstarter Campaign earlier this week and it was accepted yesterday! I couldn’t […]
