WordPress.org Seeks Release Leads For 2017
With work on WordPress 4.6 coming to an end, and 4.7 getting ready, WordPress.org is calling for volunteers to lead releases in 2017. Having release leads in place months in advance makes the project much more efficient. “It might seem advantageous to announce a year’s worth of release leads, but it puts the first and even second release lead at a disadvantage. IncludeWP Is A New Home For WordPress Frameworks
After the plugins review team made a statement disallowing frameworks in the repository last March, Co-founder of Freemius Vova Feldman decided to find them a new home. With help from Luca Fracassi from Addendio, Feldman and his team created IncludeWP, a hub to display all open-source frameworks for WordPress.
