Things keep getting better and better with Gravity Forms, who have now released their 1.7.6 version. A ‘major’ release for them, they are introducing their “add-on framework” which will allow developers to create add-ons for the popular plugin in a much easier fashion. What a week – how was yours? I’m spending my time in Florida on a mini-vacation of sorts (still very-much working) and it’s been good so far. Gravity Forms got a lot of updates in the last few days and I’m happy for it because we are using that great plugin in both of our new MVP sites, our Job Board and Pros Network. They’ve come out with four (yes, 4!) updates and/or new releases to their add-on assortment that continues to make this plugin a very catchy purchase – and without question we’ve already gotten our money’s worth.

The first is that Gravity Forms v1.7.4 has dropped which has resolved some issues with notifications as well as brought a few additions: Added support for object methods to the JavaScript hook framework. Gravity Forms has just released their 1.7.3 update and it’s got a bunch of fixes that have found resolution for the 1.7 build. There’s a host of updates and fixes, including the following: Added JS filter: ‘gform_conditional_logic_description’ allows you to modify the descriptive HTML (i.e. “Show/hide this field if any/all of the following match”). Added JS filter: ‘gform_conditional_object’ allows you to modify the conditional logic object based on the object type.
